Fly Fishing for Southern Oregon Steelhead

January - February - March - April
We fish for Winter Steelhead on the Rogue, Coquille, Elk, Sixes or North, South and Main Umpqua Rivers. The weather and river levels play a huge role on where we decide to fish for Winter Steelhead here in Southern Oregon. Be ready for an adventure! We traditionally use yarn ball, beads and Steelhead roe if needed. We recommend using 7 to 8 weight fly rods with floating line. If you have a request, please let me know at the time of booking.
July - August
Summer Steelhead on the Upper Rogue River start showing up. We traditionally use classic Steelhead flies, bugs, beads, yarn balls, and roe if needed. We recommend using a 7 or 8 weight fly rod with floating line. There will be King Salmon present, don't be surprised to hook one and hold on, it happens often!!!!
