When Southern Oregon rains come, we head to the coast to fish for Fall Chinook on the Chetco, Elk or Sixes rivers. We access the Chetco from Brookings, and the Elk & Sixes from Port Orford. Early November the stunning fall foliage is still on display, and towards the end of the year beautiful winter views emerge. During time of booking we will help out with directions and accommodations.
Steelhead
Early Winter Steelhead are fished for on the Upper Rogue River, and the seasonal changes bring outstanding views, and the opportunity to catch some beautiful 'chromer' Steelhead. Most of the fish caught here are hatchery fish that can be kept, and have a great, quality meat. We fish this river out of a drift boat.
