Had a pretty good day Spring Salmon fishing on the Upper Rogue River today. We hooked 3 and landed two of them! There is already 700 Spring Chinook that have entered the hatchery and there still coming!

So........... for all of you that thought that April wasn't a good month for Steelhead fishing........ Check it out........  April 14th  April 16th  April 16th  April 17th     Ended my Steelhead season with a double!!!!! Last four pictures were taken on April 18th! Get ready for salmon fishing, it has already started on the Upper Rogue River!!!!!!
Fished the North Umpqua today for Steelhead. Great day, we hooked 12 and landed 7.    Check out this 13lb. Chromer............Sons!!!!!!!
OHHHH YOU KNOW IT!!!!!!!! Im in the " One of the First Spring Salmon Caught Club!!!!! " This is the earliest Spring Chinook I have ever caught on the Rogue River! Season will be starting soon.......don't miss out!!!!  April 12th, Upper Rogue River!!!!  Steelhead season here in Southern Oregon will be wrapping up in a couple more weeks. But don't be to sad!!!! Spring Chinook Salmon are coming. We will see good numbers of salmon on the Upper Rogue River in about three more weeks!!!! We have already had two Spring Chinook make it into the hatchery! Get ready, cause there coming!!!!!       |
