Today was my first fly fishing trip for salmon this season. We ended up hooking 6 salmon and landing 2, two of them broke our ten lb. leader and the other to just spit the hook during the battle. We also landed a beautiful 5 to 6 lb. wild summer steelhead. Great day, check out the pictures.

 Salmon fishing is still good on the Upper Rogue River. We caught this beauty on 6/24 side drifting for Steelhead, what a great battle! We ended up hooking 5 that day and landing 3.  Fishing for Spring Chinook on the Upper Rogue River has still been good, we've seen a few Summer Steelhead showing up and should start getting good in about three weeks! Fly fishing for trout has been really good as well using salmon flies on the surface.       We landed five that day out of 6 hookups, June 6th
