Wow, It's been a little while since I put a post up. Fishing here in Southern Oregon got stagnant. Without any rain and anglers beating everything up, fishing got tough. The cards needed to be shuffled! But we finally got some rain and fishing has definitley picked up. I truly hope were not going to have a drought year! Did a fly fishing trip for steelhead here on the Upper Rogue River the last twe days and we smoked um!!!!!! We landed 18 fish in two days. With slow fishing for last few weeks, I NEEDED a few good fishing days!!! Makes a man feel good and the clients too.....Ha,Ha. All these fish were caught on November 21,22. I did not take pictures of every fish, Sorry. First Silver Salmon I've caught on a fly rod!! This is the Second Silver Salmon I've caught on a Fly rod on the Rogue River!

So this report is from 10/16/13 to 11/1/13. I just finished guided on the Lower Rogue River for Chinook and Silver salmon. It was a great season, except for the last two days were tough. We got a few, but nothing like it was prior. I am at home now and fishing for Fall Steelhead on the Upper Rogue River, which has been good. As soon as we get a good measureable rain fall, I will head to the coast and start fishing for Fall Chinook on our coastal rivers!!!!!
