Finally, The Rogue river has dropped after the record rain fall we had in the month of September here in Southern Oregon. I was a little stressed out there for a few days wondering if all our October salmon were going to swim by us????? But, that did not happen, salmon fishing for Chinooks and Coho has been really good. Basically it's Fish On!!! for the lower Rogue river!!!!!

October 1st We landed 4 fish that day.

This was October 4 and 5th.  The first day we landed 3, just to let you know, we just had one of those days because we lost 8 other fish that day. But we made up for it the second day. We hooked 20 and this is what we kept legally.

October 6th, This is what we landed, sorry to say, we lost 5 other nice chrome Chinook, but we still had a great catch. I have these guys tomorrow, I'll keep you posted........
