Hello Anglers!!! Sorry it's been a while since I have posted a Southern Oregon fishing report. I have been busy finishing up my Lower Rogue River Salmon season.................and what great one it turned out to be. I am home now and will start fishing for Fall Steelhead on the Upper Rogue river. This is a great fishery. This is a great time for Fly fishermen, our Steelhead like to bite all kinds of bugs and small egg imitations. If you are not a fly fisherman, don't worry, we can side drift yarn balls and small clusters of eggs. Lots of fun!
If Salmon is your game we will be heading to the Oregon Coast for our Fall Chinook run on the Chetco, Elk, and Sixes rivers when mother nature helps us out with rainfall. Our fall is already starting out wet and let's hope it stays that way throughout the season to make a great Fall Chinook run on the Coast. If you are interested in any of these trips, please contact me through my web site and I can fill you in with more details! All photos were taken on the Lower Rogue River between September 26th thru October 18th. I would have more pictures but I decided to leave my camera in my boat while it was raining, with a water proof case, and it leaked. Yep, camera is fried, time to go get a new one!!!! Let's get our fish on!!!!!
